Stop The Bleed

Stop the Bleed Course is a classroom course that teaches employees life saving skills on how to stop preventable loss of life. This course includes the American College of Surgeons participation certificate.   All materials and practicals are covered and reviewed with students in the classroom by the instructors. We bring the classroom to your facility and help your staff learn the basics of safety when it comes to dealing with bleeding emergencies.  All prices are per student, a minimum of 5 students is required to schedule a class.  

Due to recent mass casualty/active shooter events, a coalition was formed to Create a National Policy to Enhance Survivability from Intentional Mass Casualty and Active Shooter Events.  The coalition is comprised of the American Surgeons College in collaboration with the medical community and representatives from the federal government, the National Security Council, the U.S. military, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.  The committees results were outlined in a report called the “Hartford Consensus”, all additional information can be found at http://bleedingcontrol.org

Stop the Bleed with C.A.T Tourniquet – $ 75.00  

Each participant will receives a C.A.T. tourniquet (Combat Application Tourniquet). Participants learn life saving skills to stop preventable loss of life.  Stopping bleeding with direct pressure, application of a C.A.T tourniquet, pressure bandages and the use of hemostatic dressings

Participants learn life saving skills to stop preventable loss of life.  Stopping bleeding with direct pressure, application of a C.A.T tourniquet, pressure bandages and the use of hemostatic dressings.

For businesses that would like us to come on site, the minimum Stop the Bleed Course and our CPR classes is 5 people.  If business is located downtown, we require parking validation if parking is not available.
