Blood Borne Pathogens Course from Accurate CPR

Blood borne Pathogens Course is a classroom course that teaches employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course includes the American Heart Association participation certificate.   All materials and practicals are covered and reviewed with students in the classroom by AHA instructors. We bring the classroom to your facility and help your staff learn the basics of safety when it comes to dealing with medical and traumatic emergencies.  All prices are per student, a minimum of 4 students is required to schedule a class.

Blood Borne Pathogens – $30.00

This course uses AHA’s PACT acronym (Protect, Act, Clean, Tell) and slogan, “Make a PACT and Know How to Act,” to help students learn and recall blood borne pathogen training.

Students learn how to:

• Protect themselves from blood borne pathogens
• Act when exposed to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace
• Clean themselves and the area when exposed to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace
• Tell or report any exposure to blood or blood-containing in the workplace

Minimum class size of 5 for American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED. Minimum of 4 for the American Heart Association BLS CPR course.  Price noted does not include book. An E-book is also available from the American Heart Association (https://ebooks.heart.org) – Look for the Heartsaver CPR AED Student workbook. For businesses that would like us to come on site, the minimum for Heartsaver CPR AED is 5. Minimum for CPR AED & First Aid is 4. If business is located downtown, we require parking validation if parking is not available.
